Overton T. Ockerman, 84, of Bremerton died Thursday at his home.
Born Dec. 27, 1907, in Kingston Okla., he moved to Kitsap County in June from Seminole, Okla.
On Sept. 13, 1930, he married Myra Vest in Tecumseh, Okla.
Mr. Ockerman served in the Navy during World War II. He also worked in oil fields for 46 years, retiring in 1972.
He enjoyed fishing and boating.
Survivors include his wife, Myra; a son Wayne of Bremerton; three brothers, Bill of Seminole, Okla., Jack of Sapulpa, Okla. and Roy of Dumas, Texas' four sisters, Eva Lutz and Dorthy Bell, both of Sapulpa, Marguerite Winston of Jenks, Okla, and Patty Jo Groover of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3p.m. Monday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home with interment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
