Baptized at Howard Memorial Church in Del City, Oklahoma, Aubrey worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma as a high line man and machinist. He retired in 1976.Aubrey was also a mechanic and could do anything he set his mind to do. He joined the Masonic Fraternity and was initiated the 23,Oct.
Aubrey died on 26-Sep-1978 in Del City, Oklahoma of a heart attack. It is believed that he was walking home from his brother's house. He sat down on the curb of Townsend and S.E. 11th street to rest. As he laid back, it is believed that he suffered the heart attack. He was found by a neighbor of his brother who called for help and notified Aubrey's brother. He was rushed to Midwest City Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
