Mainly a farmer, he lived in Stratford,Konawa, Holdenville,and OKC Oklahoma. A very outgoing person, he would help anyone, But not a man to be crossed. He enjoyed "get togethers" as noted in the following Newspaper Clipping.

"40-YEARS-AGO in SEMINOLE" "Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Huddleston and family and a group of friend gathered recently for a barn dance in the loft of the new barn on the Huddleston estate. Bales of hay around the edge of the loft were used as chairs and also as an enclosure for the orchestra pit. Vance's Haywire Orchestra furnished the music. Sam campbell, Jess Fox And Elzia Amason called the square dances............................"
